Saving Lives
When Lives Are at Risk, We’re There.
Providing support to patients in critical conditions, offering emotional assistance, and mobilizing resources to help overcome illness. One of the organization’s core missions is life-saving support.
Our service includes patient guidance, legal representation when needed, and public resource mobilization for patients requiring treatments, surgeries, or medications not covered by the national health basket or only available abroad. Since 2014, the organization has specialized in assisting with the purchase of lifesaving medications and operates a social virtual pharmacy.
When resource mobilization is required, the organization provides an experienced campaign manager skilled in public fundraising. The organization also offers families comprehensive knowledge and technology to support the campaign’s success.
Kav Lachayim supports families throughout their journey with consultation, guidance, emotional support, and resource mobilization.
Our Activities
Life-Saving Campaigns
All funds raised in the trust fund go directly toward covering medical expenses, transferred directly to healthcare institutions, pharmaceutical companies, or any relevant service provider involved in the patient’s care.
Social Pharmacy
A lifesaving solution providing medications not covered by the health basket to critically ill patients, especially in oncology.
We Believe There’s a Better Way
At Kav Lachayim, we reject the prevailing approach in recent years, often hidden from the public, where up to 50% of funds raised for life-saving campaigns go toward advertising, unnecessary productions, and payments to marketing companies. This requires double the fundraising to support the patient, which is neither fair nor transparent to donors who remain unaware of this information.
We believe in a different approach. Over 35 years, we’ve proven that mutual responsibility and public support have great power. We strive to ensure that no more than 10% of funds go toward advertising, prioritizing resources for the patient’s benefit rather than costly media spaces as found in the business sector.
