Community Centers

Kav Lachayim has taken on the mission of providing support in Israel’s peripheral areas, focusing on the unique needs of populations facing challenges in regions with limited access to recreational and therapeutic centers.

The organization operates eight community centers nationwide, located in Jerusalem, Pisgat Ze’ev, Modiin, Ashkelon, Ashdod, Be’er Sheva, Petah Tikva, and Kiryat Shmona.

A key aspect of the organization’s work is the year-round connection with hundreds of children and their families, offering support in the child’s own environment. The centers operate several afternoons each week.

Target Audience:
Children aged 8-16 with disabilities, severe illnesses, or rare syndromes.

Goals:

• Improve social skills
• Provide children with a fun social environment after school
• Allow parents time for personal needs and other family responsibilities

Group Size:
Each group consists of 10-15 children.
