Let’s come together to support 5.5-year-old Emily Boim.
Emily Boim, from Kibbutz Ein Dor, was born with bilateral kidney reflux and suffers from severe drug-resistant epilepsy, which manifests in extremely frequent seizures—around 60 seizures each month, occurring day and night. Additionally, Emily is diagnosed with moderate-functioning autism.
Her parents, Saar and Natalie, have had to significantly reduce their work hours to care for Emily, who requires constant 24-hour supervision, even during sleep. Tragically, Emily cannot be left alone for even a moment due to the unpredictable and life-threatening nature of her seizures.
Emily’s 8-year-old brother, Tai, is deeply affected by his sister’s condition and must also cope, alongside his parents, with the immense challenges and consequences of Emily’s care.
To add to the family’s hardships, Emily’s 6-year-old younger brother has been diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome.
Emily’s parents have turned to Kav LaChaim for financial assistance to help cover their overwhelming monthly expenses, which include medication, special food, an afternoon caregiver, psychological treatments, diapers, a therapeutic daycare, private evaluations, and more.
Emily Boim is a beautiful child, radiant and full of light. Despite her struggles, she smiles and instills hope in her parents.
Please help us support little Emily.
