Avigail Carmel Levy

Avigail Carmel Levy, a two-and-a-half-year-old from Harish, has been diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a type of cancer affecting her spine, which has left her legs paralyzed.

Since her diagnosis, Avigail has been suffering from weakness in her lower limbs and requires intensive treatments to save her legs.

Abigail has already undergone surgery and grueling chemotherapy treatments and continues to endure frequent hospitalizations, accompanied by immense suffering and severe pain.

Adel and Ben Levy, Avigail’s young parents, are filled with love and determination to help their daughter. Her mother had to leave her job to provide Abigail with constant care, around-the-clock treatments, and full supervision. The family faces the burden of significant expenses required for Abigail’s care.

The necessary costs amount to approximately 500,000 NIS, which includes highly expensive hydrotherapy sessions multiple times a week, consultations with international medical centers, and financial assistance for her parents, whose livelihood has been severely affected by their commitment to Abigail’s care.

Doctors are also preparing Avigail’s parents for the possibility that treatments in Israel may not suffice, and for the prospect of challenging and lengthy rehabilitation periods.
