Milly Nahum, a beautiful 4 year old that always smiles, who is full with joy and has a huge amount of motivation, was born with a rare diagnosis of arthrogryposis - a syndrome that causes damage to the body joints, the bones and the tendons.

The syndrome affects Milly's ability to stand, sit and walk and she is not capable of doing this without support.

Since Milly was only a month old, she underwent countless treatments and 3 difficult, complex, and painful surgeries at Schneider Hospital in Israel. These treatments were not enough, and the senior medical team recommended that she be taken immediately to a hospital in Miami, USA that specializes in this syndrome.

Milly must get to the USA ASAP, for a series of 3 surgeries performed by Dr. Yakov Feldman. These series include spine surgery which will improve her life quality and allow her to walk like all the children her age.

Unfortunately, even though the medical team at Schneider recommend and insist on having these surgeries, the national medical insurance (Kupat Cholim) will not fund the treatment and all its costs.

The cost of the surgeries is 800,000 NIS, not including the flights and the stay in the U.S.
